DESCRIPTION
We were invited to create a show depicting the culture and mythology of Hawaii. In a format that breaks away from the luaus and polynesian reviews, the 25 cast members touch the audience with a universal story of migration, human drama and close bonding to nature.
One year of research with Hawaiian elders and museologists helped anchor this moving production into the cultural fabric of the islands.
Running daily, in Hawaiian, since July 1999, to rave reviews. |
